COVID Testing

Many people have been confused on where they can get tested for COVID-19 if they are or if they begin displaying symptoms.

COVID-19 Symptoms (include but are NOT limited to):

  • Cough
  • Fever
  • Shortness of breath
  • Difficulty breathing

Symptoms may appear 2-14 days after exposure. (Source: CDC).

If you are experiencing severe symptoms, please call 911 immediately or go to your nearest Emergency Department.

If you are not facing an emergency or immediately life threatening situation and want to get tested for COVID-19, the following are testing center locations in southern California:

Illinois

For testing in Chicago, the Chicago Department of Public Health (CDPH) is only testing individuals in high-risk groups including:

  1. Over the age of 60
  2. Pregnant
  3. Underlying health conditions
