I think about the beautiful little fool often, wavering back and forth on whether I, myself, would want to be a beautiful little fool, or if I’d rather be right where I am, aware of myself and the world around me.

The Dog Park Dilemma

Why is it that people still think it’s okay to not pick up after their dogs? Am I really performing a social good if the result is that less and less people pick up after their dogs? Is an act a social good because it is inherently good or is an act a social good because of the outcome or repercussions?
