I’ve contemplated this conundrum to great lengths, never truly satisfied with a response. I’m not sure if the following comes from societal standards, wisdom from our elders, or merely common knowledge, but it seems to be at its utmost importance now, during this pandemic, that you should take care of yourself first, before trying to help others.
